Persimmon Homes development for 75 new homes in Rendlesham was approved by East Suffolk Council on 28.04.23.
The development proposes a beautiful, contemporary design on the edge of the settlement and comprises a woodland walk, street trees, a sustainable drainage system incorporating a pond and a community allotments.
As well as offering an attractive mix of new 1 to 5 bedroom homes for private sale, the scheme also provides a mixture of affordable homes including 12 homes for below market rent, 7 for discounted market sale and 6 for shared ownership.
The new development will see over £800,000 spent on community infrastructure. New play facilities will be provided and almost £100,000 will be invested into local secondary schools and highways upgrades. A new bus stop will also be installed.
